Greetings and welcome to the website of the Farmington Valley Chapter of the Links, Incorporated. Established in 1979, as a local chapter of the Links, Incorporated, the Farmington Valley Chapter is dedicated to enriching the lives of the community through a variety of programs and events.

Our mission, as women of African descent linked in friendship, is to contribute to the Greater Hartford community by providing services that sustain and affirm our culture. The premiere legacy of the Farmington Valley Chapter of the Links, Incorporated is one of friendship and service to others and most especially to our youth.

For over 30 years, we have worked in earnest planning and executing meaningful events to support the programs driven by the Five Facets which includes The Arts, Services to Youth, International Trends and Services, National Trends and Services, and Health and Human Services. The programs are implemented through strategies such as public information and education, economic development, and public policy campaigns. The Farmington Valley Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, maintains as strong a commitment as ever to the goals and ideals of The Links, Incorporated. We continue to work with area schools, mentor young women, award generous scholarships, stay abreast of national and international trends, and at the same time we humbly seek the wisdom of our elders. Indeed, we are proud, truly grateful and in no way exhausted from the rewarding work that we do. We acknowledge and are thankful for the generous support and trust from our loyal friends and collaborators. We look forward to our next celebration of friendship and service in the name of The Links, Incorporated.
